Did anyone know that Garmin actually allows you to change the voice of the turn-by-turn assistance on your GARMIN GPS nuvi??

Well I didn’t. Until yesterday. And I am addicted to it… Like seriously.

Before this I have spent endless days telling everyone about how I would like to change the ‘Recalculating’ voice to something along the lines of ‘Are you stupid? Did I ask you to turn? Dang, now I have to recalculate!’ See how much more ‘appropriate’ that would be? I have put this in my brother’s unit and he was laughing so hard because the renditions from the set were exactly what I said when the GPS did.

Some of my colleagues on the other hand, got their little kids to do the renditions and it has provided hours of fun for the whole family in tow. Plus, the children learn more about how the GPS helps them in their day to day lives.

So go ahead and download this small little program, and get immersed in hours of hilarious fun for the whole family.

Unfortunately for the moment, this function is only available on Windows PC, but in the future, hopefully Garmin will develop a free application for MAC and Linux users as well. =)
